Kristen K. Mauch (née Kelsch) is a founding member of Ripple Effect who directs logistics and operations. She provides support across all of the organization’s programs and internal projects. She is also a licensed architect who has taught studios and lecture courses at Louisiana State University’s School of Architecture since she joined the faculty in fall 2010. In addition to teaching, Kristen serves as the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs, Instructional and Student Services for the College of Art & Design at LSU. Prior to her appointment as Associate Dean, she was the LSU School of Architecture’s Undergraduate Coordinator and faculty coordinator of the School of Architecture's summer camp for high school students interested in design. In 2019, she was awarded the Communication across the Curriculum (CxC) Outstanding Faculty Award by the Office of Academic Affairs for her contributions to teaching communication-intensive courses and CxC-related initiatives. In 2024, she was awarded the LSU Alumni Association Faculty Excellence Award for outstanding teaching, research, and service.
